The blue turquoise discus was the second color bred variations of the wild discus developed by Schmidt-Focke of Germany (the first was the red turquoise discus). Blue turquoise are primarily blue with some red and with black vertical stripes on the body and are our most popular variety. AquariumFish blue turquoise discus are bred in Singapore to tolerate a wide Ph (but not above 7.6) range and feed on frozen and pellet foods!
